Dear KHS Family,
As the principal of Kingsburg High School, it is with immense pride and a deep sense of connection to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year. Reflecting on my journey, I am reminded of the incredible bond we share as a school community, one that extends far beyond the walls of our classrooms.
Having been a 1996 alumni of KHS myself, I understand firsthand the unique and profound impact this institution has on its students. The values and lessons instilled here not only shape our educational paths but also forge lasting relationships and a sense of belonging that stays with us long after we leave.
I am beginning my 24th year in education and throughout my career, I have been reminded of the importance of the nurturing environment that defines a school. My goal is that KHS remains a place where every student is valued and every achievement is celebrated. It is this very environment that fosters a strong, family atmosphere, where the bonds of friendship and mentorship are forged and cherished.
It is heartwarming to see former students return, share their experiences, and contribute to the ongoing success of our school community. This spirit of giving back and staying connected exemplifies the true essence of what it means to be part of the Viking family.
As we continue to grow and evolve, I want to emphasize how important it is for us to stay connected and support one another. Whether you are a recent graduate or have been part of our community for years, you are an integral part of our story. Your achievements, your memories, and your continued involvement enrich the tapestry of our school's legacy.
KHS will continue to be an environment where students can flourish and teachers continue to serve and support our students, guiding them through their academic and personal development with passion and commitment.
As we look forward to a fantastic year ahead, please remember that my door is always open. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Thank you for being a part of the KHS family. Together, we will continue to nurture and inspire future generations, fostering a community where everyone feels at home.
Once a Viking, Always a Viking!
Warm regards,
Heather Wilson
